Overtime

The sound applied to this short film is the result of a practical assignment in which the phases of post sound were explored in succession, including:

  • Importing an AAF into Pro Tools

  • Auditioning production recordings and editing dialogue onto the timeline

  • Sound effects editing, including sourcing of sounds via libraries

  • Sourcing and editing of music

  • Recording and editing of foley

  • Recording and editing of ADR for the character of Sean

  • Configuring a routing template to facilitate isolated dialogue, music and effects stems 

  • Sound mixing, incorporating compressors and limiters
